Intertek is the official provider of fuel testing services for Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) race events.
Beginning with FIM's 2012 motorcycle racing season, Intertek provides exclusive testing services related to fuel quality and compliance. These fuel testing services support official FIM fuel specifications and technical regulations. FIM has recently renewed the global race fuel testing agreement with Intertek to 2016.
Experienced Intertek fuel quality experts and mobile testing labs conduct key fuel tests at the race tracks, with additional support from Intertek's global network of world-class fuel testing laboratories. Intertek personnel are on-site at selected FIM events, including superbike, Motocross, Endurance and other approved motorcycle races where real-time on-track fuel compliance testing are performed.
In addition, Intertek supports FIM by providing fuel advisory expertise to help keep the organization's internal fuel regulations stay up-to-date with developing quality and testing standards.
